Design Inspiration
The oni (鬼) is one of the most famous creatures in Japanese folklore - a powerful demon often depicted with horns, wild hair, and fierce red skin. In legends, oni are both feared and respected, symbolizing chaos, punishment, and the darker forces of the spirit world. The kanji 鬼 below the figure literally means “oni” or “demon,” while the armored warrior style reflects how these mythical beings are often imagined as unstoppable fighters in Japanese art and storytelling.
