Susanoo is one of the most famous gods in Japanese mythology - a wild, rebellious deity of storms and the sea. Unlike calm and noble gods, Susanoo was known for his explosive temper and chaotic adventures. One of his most legendary feats was slaying the eight-headed serpent Yamata no Orochi, rescuing a young woman who had been chosen as its next sacrifice. From the serpent’s tail he discovered the legendary sword Kusanagi, which later became one of the sacred imperial treasures of Japan. Susanoo embodies raw strength, defiance, and the spirit of a warrior who refuses to bow to fate.
