Design Inspiration
The circular crest in this design belongs to the Oyama clan, a lesser-known but historically present samurai family name in Japan. Like many samurai houses, their identity was expressed through a kamon, a family emblem used on armor, clothing, and war banners. These symbols worked almost like medieval logos, allowing warriors to recognize allies and rivals in the chaos of battle. Even today, kamon remain an important part of Japanese heritage and still appear in traditional ceremonies, architecture, and family records.
