Design Inspiration
The crest belongs to the Makino clan (牧野), a samurai family that served the Tokugawa shogunate during the Edo period. Although not as famous as some warlords, the Makino were trusted daimyō who governed several domains and played an important administrative role during Japan’s long era of peace.
